Profile:
After qualifying with an honours degree from Barts and the London, School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2013, I spent a number of years working in specialist hospital departments dealing with complex extractions, surgical orthodontics and anxious patients requiring treatment under sedation. In addition, I have a keen interest in teeth whitening and cosmetic dentistry. In 2015, I was invited to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. I love seeing the transformational effect that a new and healthy smile can have on both children and adults, particularly those who haven't attended for some time or those who are initially quite anxious. In my spare time, I keep well with a mix of tai chi, yoga and Pilates, and I love to cook and bake with the help of Mary Berry and MasterChef. My husband is often my guinea pig for when I try new recipes!

Profile:
After qualifying in 1988 from Newcastle University, I spent two years in general practice in the north-east, joining Thurmaston Dental Practice in 1990.

I did move back to Nottingham for a few years while my boys were young. Fortunately I had an opportunity to return to the practice, which I took and have remained here since.

Restoring confidence in nervous patients, and getting them to feel comfortable with attending regularly are aspects of dentistry I find rewarding.

I enjoy running, mountain walking and skiing, although alot of spare time is taken up being "mum's taxi" to my two sons.
