How long does a dermal filler treatment take?
Dermal filler treatments typically take between 30 – 45 minutes to complete. At Thurmaston Dental, Facial, & Implants, we use a selection of high-quality and proven dermal filler agents including Restylane® and Juvederm®.
Depending on the area of the face to be treated, a topical anaesthetic may be used to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. Some patients may experience temporary redness, swelling or sensitivity in the days following the treatment.
The results of a dermal filler treatment are nearly always immediately noticeable.
How long do the effects of dermal filler treatments last?
The visible effects of dermal filler treatments typically last from 6 to 9 months depending on the areas treated and the nature of your skin and lips.
